I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I also hold a Behavioral Specialist License which I obtained in 2013. I graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s in psychology in 2009, then earned my master’s in counseling psychology from Chatham University in 2013.
I have well over a decade of experience in utilizing various evidence-based modalities including DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) etc. I am currently implementing and actively working to obtain certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).
I have experience working with individual children, teens, and adults as well as couples and families. I have specialized training and experience in issues related to anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, substance-use disorders, trauma etc. I am here to help you find peace and healing, starting wherever you are in your healing journey.

My name is Dr. Evelyne Nyangara DNP,CRNP-BC. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. With a background in nursing and advanced training in psychiatry, I have a holistic approach that integrates both physical and mental health to offer comprehensive care to my patients. My role involves diagnosing, treating, and supporting individuals through a range of mental health conditions, from anxiety and depression to mood disorders and more complex psychiatric needs.
My approach prioritizes collaboration; I believe in working closely with patients to create personalized treatment plans that include medication management, therapy, and lifestyle modifications as needed. My name is Amber R. Harris, I grew up in Virginia Beach Virginia, graduating from Old Dominion University with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, minor focus in Counseling and Human Services. I have some additional education that allowed me to experience helping children of all ages in the education field, including infants, preschoolers, middle, and high school with students with varying levels of abilities and disabilities. I have been graced with inspiring and helping individuals at home, in the community, or engaged in inpatient or outpatient settings. I have empowered individuals in recovery from various roles including, but not limited, a case manager, crisis delegate, psychiatric rehabilitation specialist, Home and Community Specialist, Crisis Prevention and Intervention trainer, and counselor. I am currently in the process of obtaining my Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification.
Everyone is in recovery from something, we have all had something that has challenged us and changed us. With my education and own learned experiences I help empower others using evidenced based practices to educate and problem solve barriers. I am very passionate recovery and empowering individuals who are cycle breakers, improving their confidence in expressing themselves, learning to be vulnerable, asking for help, recognizing and overcoming codependent tendencies, physical wellness for mental health, setting and enforcing boundaries, recognizing their own strengths, and tools to promote recovery.

I attended Medical School at the University of Cincinnati and had residencies in Adult and Child Psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. I am board certified in Psychiatry and across the US. I am very excited to join the Fresh Beginning team to provide excellent care and support for the community.
Hello! My name is Jessica Hoover, and I am the Administrative Coordinator.
I graduated with my Bachelors in Honors Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2011 and then attended West Chester University and graduated with my Masters in Clinical Psychology in 2014.
I have spent over a decade working in the mental health field with children, adults and geriatric populations in various school settings, inpatient settings as well as working as an outpatient D&A and mental health therapist.
My priority has always been to provide quality care and advocate for my clients. I have dedicated my career to helping others and am excited to be joining a great team at Fresh Beginning in order to provide a safe space where you will feel unconditionally accepted and supported.
I am a recent graduate of Clearfield High School and will be attending Juniata College this academic year. I am immensely excited to embark on this journey, majoring in Chemistry on the pre-med track. My experience at Fresh Beginning Behavioral Health has been profoundly enriching, allowing me to gain comprehensive insights into medical billing, credentialing, and insurance policies.
